Michelle founded Bricks 4 Kidz® in June, 2008 and co-founded BFK Franchise Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Creative Learning Corporation (CLCN) in May 2009 after meeting Brian Pappas. In her capacity as “founder,” Ms. Cote advises the company in the areas of creative development and new programs. Her involvement with Bricks 4 Kidz continues as she delivers the successful after-school enrichment classes, in-school workshops, camps and birthday parties using LEGO® Bricks. From 2005 to 2008 Ms. Cote was a freelance architectural draftsman until she realized the opportunity to educate children on the STEM concepts (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) by utilizing LEGO® Bricks. Prior to 2005 Ms. Cote worked for an architectural firm in St. Augustine, Florida. She received her B.A. degree from Flagler College in St. Augustine in 1991 with a major in Spanish/Latin American studies and graduated Cum Laude.
Creative Learning Corporation (CLCN) announces that it has named Christian Miller as its new Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Miller, 43, has been working with the Company consulting on financial issues over the past several months. The Company believes that Mr. Miller brings a substantial upgrade to CLCN’s finance staff in light of his many years of experience as a senior finance officer at several companies, including a public corporation. Prior to joining CLCN, Mr. Miller held a number of significant financial positions, including Controller at Pilot Pen Corporation of America, Corporate Controller at Pinova Holdings, Inc., and Director of Accounting and Reporting at Trailer Bridge, Inc. Mr. Miller has significant Sarbanes-Oxley experience as well. Mr. Miller holds a Masters of Business Administration from Jacksonville University, and an Accounting Degree from Florida State University.
